Lough Stone - This fine building stone comes from the quarry at Luogh which overlooks the Aran Islands and is the site for our stone works.

Luogh Stone Properties:

The colour is typically blue grey with some shades of brown. The brown provides relief and the combination makese the built stone particularly attractive.

Luogh Stone Qualities:

This classic building stone has been exported from Ireland for over 150 years and is celebrated for its hardness and durability. Its use in house fronts is widespread, also, in public buildings such as the J.F. Kennedy Park in New Ross.

Luogh Stone Specifications:

The stone is precision split into blocks 40mm to 500mm high and lengths of 200mm to 600mm and has a uniform building width.
